Federico Flores-Parkman is a visual artist with a passion for painting, mixed media, photography, and interior design, and an emerging name in the contemporary art world.
From a young age, he had a profound passion for art, developing his skills early on. With a background in both finance and art from the University of Miami, he initially pursued a career in banking. However, after some time, he made the decision to leave that career path behind and focus on his passion for art.
Since then, Flores-Parkman has completed an art residency in Old Westbury, NY, and held his first solo exhibition in Mexico City at SIN Galería in spring 2024, titled "Caminos y Costuras," exploring themes of nostalgia, longing, and unrealized dreams.
Born in Mexico City in 1998, his work is marked by abstract expressionism and a pursuit of balance and simplicity, as well as themes involving identity. He currently moves between Miami, New York, and Mexico City.
In addition to his art practice, Flores-Parkman is passionate about creating residential interior spaces, which he views as another form of artistic expression. He runs his own studio, Artem Design, where he brings his vision to life in unique spaces.
